7th June 2008 Windsurfing: Calshot Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: light !!! Surf / Sea State: flat - inland lagoon area Air Temperature: toasty Sea Temperature: okay Weather: hot & sunny with light breeze Max Speed: Distance Covered: Demo weekend for the RN & RAF. Excellent weekend for demo, and also managed to get some time on the water with the crew. Used Kona 10'5 with my Poison 5.8m, and then got others using my kit to feel the feeling. SUP'd the 11'5 over to the spit so people could use that between their relay races on the Kona One's. Took the S-Cross 130 and then 145 for quick blast with the 8.3m Swift. Kona Tandem on water all day both days, but managed to give my kids a quick go on tandem before sticking kiddy rig on Kona One for them to use. Kids all had a go SUP'ing on 10'5 & 11'5 too. Cracking weekend, if not the windiest we've enjoyed .... one for the Kona's |
